The Chinese mainland was among the 10 most competitive economies in Asia according to the latest report released at the 2019 Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference in Boao, South China’s Hainan province.
Taiwan province and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region grabbed the second and fourth spots on the list, which was topped by the Republic of Korea according to the forum’s annual Asian Competitiveness Report.
Amid continuous progress of economic integration, Asian economies have begun to enjoy huge integration dividends; the growth of the Asian economy and the improvement of Asia’s competitiveness have, on the whole, shown good momentum for steady progress, the report said.
