On August 29, 2019, Fotile, one of the most popular Chinese kitchenware brand in North American, and SickKids Foundation, Canada’s largest child hospital, have achieved a five-year strategic cooperation at the Fotile Life Experience Center in Markham. In the next five years, Fotile promised to donate at least 50,000 Canadian dollars to help children with respiratory diseases by improving the treatment environment. This charity event attracted more than 20 local media.
Fotile was founded in 1996. For the next 23 years Fotile is dedicated to provide high-end electronic kitchenware and is committed to produce excellent products and services to people who are pursuing high-quality life while creating a healthy, environmentally-friendly and culturally-oriented lifestyle. Millions of families now enjoy happier and more convenient lives. In 2015, Fotile officially entered Canada and continued to introduce new products. The side suction hood which is specially developed for the North American kitchen has been granted North American Kitchen Artifact by Chinese Canadian customers. At the meantime, Fotile experience store has expanded from Vancouver to Toronto, Edmonton and Montreal providing the best electronic kitchenware for all Chinese Canadian community.

At 11o’clock in the morning, the charity signing ceremony titled as “love with the kids” officially started. Mr. Menglin Yang, general manager of Fotile first expressed his sincere welcoming to all the presented guests, During his speeches he quoted ancient Chinese saying The family that accumulates goodness is sure to have abundant happiness, and the family that accumulates evil is sure to have abundant misery. As the company is being developed smoothly and the sales continues to grow, Fotile realized that all the achievements are inseparable from the support of the community. Giving back to the community is an integral part of the company’s social responsibility and this donation to SickKids is the first step toward fulfilling the responsibility. While talking to the employees of SickKids hospital, Fotile found out the many child patients with respiratory condition are quite sensitive to the breathing air condition, even a little bit of impurity or odors can worsen their condition or be life threatening. Improving the air quality for the customer has always been the goal of Fotile. In order to provide better treatment for the child patients, Fotile decided to donate fifty thousand Canadian dollar in total to SickKids hospital for the next five years staring this September. Mr. Yang also promised on Fotile’s behalf that Fotile would donate some of its September profit to SickKids hospital which is at least ten thousand dollars. By working with the Chinese Canadian community, Fotile hopes to become the pioneer of providing charity to children. Fotile also wish to inspire other Chinese companies to join the actions to give back to the society which has been giving us so much.

Miss. Shiming Fei, the head of community development of SickKids foundation, came to the stage and delivered another speech. She said that respiratory disease such as asthma, have occurred to many children every year. It is crucial to improve the condition of medical treatment. She also expressed gratitude to Fotile for donating funds which would be used on the research of curing of child respiratory diseases and improvement of general treatment environment of SickKids hospital. This charity would help more children be free of disease and enjoy their childhood. Finally, she once again thanked Fang Tai and the media for their exemplary attitude towards charity and the spirit of charity and dedication.
