City of Markham to announce approved 2022 Budget

 Join Mayor Frank Scarpitti; Budget Chief and Councillor Amanda Yeung Collucci; Budget Vice-Chair and Councillor Andrew Keyes; and Members of Council as we announce Markham’s 2022 Budget on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

Markham’s Budget supports city operations and more than 40 services, including:

  • Fire and emergency services
  • Roads, bridges and sidewalk maintenance
  • Parks and sports field maintenance
  • Waste and recycling collection
  • Water and wastewater services
  • Maintenance of City facilities
  • Infrastructure replacement
  • City planning and development
  • Arts and culture
  • Bylaw enforcement and licensing
  • Office support and administration
