希迪亚克龙虾节

　　离磁力山半个小时的车程，我们就来到了龙虾之都—希迪亚克，这里同样属于新不伦瑞克省。据说此地的水温和海滩都最适合龙虾生长，产出的龙虾也最肥美，是龙虾产量最多的地方，1977年此地曾经捕获到一只长达106厘米的巨形龙虾，可以说是世界上最大的龙虾了。为此这里塑造了一只世界上最大的青铜龙虾雕像，长11米，高5米，重达90吨。所以这里被称之为世界最大龙虾之故乡是担之无愧。龙虾雕像旁是一个渔港码头，曾经起着举足轻重的作用。码头边有一排漂亮的小屋，里面经营着各种旅游纪念品。小屋周围有多处休闲的地方，停着很多房车，说明来这里休闲的人真不老少。

On behalf of the organizing committee of the Shediac Lobster Festival, I am pleased to invite you to our 59th edition. What a great way to start your summer. The directors worked really hard to present a variety show for all ages and hope you will live memorable moments.

Again this year, our five day event promises to have variety shows for all ages and all taste.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the directors for their excellent work. The many hours and hard work given so that we all may have a great week are greatly appreciated. To all the dedicated volunteers, the Board of Directors and I would like to extend our deepest thanks.
