CIK Telecom: “Innovation and Technology Leads Smart City Development” conference successfully held on April 6, 2019 at Markham City Hall.

In the afternoon of April 6th, the Canadian Alumni Association of Northwestern Polytechnical University and the Canadian Alumni Association of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China jointly launched the seminar “CIK Telecom: Innovation Technology Leads Smart City Development” sponsored by CIK Telecom Held. The purpose of this seminar is to deeply understand how science and technology innovation promotes urban development, and creates a city with ecologically livable, healthy industrial development, and high happiness index. On the day of the event, Mayor of City of Markham Frank Scarpitti, Ontario Provincial Councillor Vincent Ke, and Markham City Councillor Alan Ho attended the semninar site and made a wonderful speech on the subject. As a guest performer, the famous soprano singer, Ms. Zhang Huiping, lead the national anthem of Canada and national anthem of China.

At the beginning of the seminar, Deng Xiaojing, CEO of CIK Telecom, who was the organizer of this seminar, shared his entrepreneurial story. The hard work experience and the bitterness of overseas Chinese caused the audience to resonate and the applause.
