Family fun game day was successfully held on Canada Day

 

The first Family Fun Game Day which was funded by the Canadian Federal Government and organized by the Easy Canada media, Liaoning Chamber of Commerce, and the New Canadian community centre ended successfully on July 1st in Rosebank Park, Scarborough. The event attracted hundreds of families from local communities, volunteers, staffs and merchants to participate in a celebration of Canada Day.

This Family Fun Game day campaign is based on the enthusiasm of further enhancing the participation of elderly members in community, increasing communication and friendship between neighbors, and enriching the cultural and sports life of the community. At the scene, a series of fun games which are suitable for family participation were planned. It is also worth mentioning that the joyful lottery carousel was also placed on the scene, which made the atmosphere reach to a climax.

The family fun games day is a community charity project for the elderly member s that are over 65 years old. All the projects involved in the event are completely free to the public. In order to further enhance the enthusiasm of participation, a round-trip transportation fee was provided to any qualified participant.

It is worth mentioning that after learning about the event, several well-known merchants and organizations in Toronto joined this fare in order to give back to the local community for their help and support over the years They are Alvento Winery, CIK TelecomCNES2 ConsultingFOTILE (Canada) Hainan AirlineDERUCCICanada),Pacific Express Travel and VIVA lifestyle Inc. These merchants provided dozens of gifts for free, and presented them to the public through lottery, adding a touch of color to the event.

Unsurprisingly, the lottery carousel was the most popular event, and a series of presents were given out on the scene including exquisite desk calendars, shopping bags, pens, pen holders, thermos cups, travel cups, mobile phone ring brackets and electronic clocks. Dozens of gifts such as hats, notebook sets, humidifiers, electronic scales, Chinese books and a variety of merchant cash vouchers were also handed to winners.

In addition, this event also attracted dozens of volunteers from all major schools and communities in Toronto who are enthusiastic about charity, and they provided great support on the spot.

This family fun game day was also co-organized with the New Canadian Community Centre. There were also singing and dancing performance and art exhibition from the Multi-culture & folk arts association of Canada.

The event was successfully completed with the support from the community members from all over Toronto.
