Let’s play Mahjong online! Easy Media will work with the Canada MCR Sports Association to assist the federal government in organizing online activities for the elderly
Easy Canada will work with the Canada MCR Sports Association to assist the Canadian federal government to enrich the leisure life of middle-aged and elderly people through online activities and increase communication between neighbors in a severe coronavirus situation. The competition will be launched this summer to create a brainstorm for the middle-aged and elderly in Toronto.
By seeing this, you may want to ask: Since it is a brain contest, what projects will you play? This year we played the Chinese favorite card activity “Mahjong”. And it is a brand-new online model.
Mahjong is a card game from China. Game participants are usually four people. The game focuses on skills, strategy use, and calculation, but also involves a lot of luck. Compared to poker, the combination of Mahjong is more varied and requires a complex probability analysis to predict the outcome. However, Mahjong needs more rules and types of memory than ordinary poker games. In East and Southeast Asia, especially Chinese communities, Mahjong is often used as a means of entertainment or gambling.
As stated in the introduction, Mahjong, as a card game originated in China, represents not only a simple game, but also contains silhouettes of Chinese culture and history. At the same time, Mahjong’s unique gameplay also gives these games more advantages. Normally, Mahjong requires 4 people to play. In the game, the relationship between the participants is invisible, and the communication between the neighbors is improved. At the same time, Mahjong needs a lot of people’s memory and computing power, and experiments have shown that Mahjong can also effectively prevent diseases such as dementia.
