NEXTWOOD Outdoor Products Corp. develop and manufacture a variety of wood-alternative outdoor products, including decking, railing and fencing over 30 years in North America. As a leading local manufacturer, we believe in continuous improvement through technology, design and aesthetics, with homeowners, retailers and builders in mind. SANDSTONE (Light Brown)

OUR TECH
Nextwood’s CORECELL Technology is lightweight wood replacement material for outdoor building applications. It has a core made of reinforced cellular PVC and a rigid skin made of weather-resistant acrylic polymeric resin called ASA. This process is revolutionary to the manufacturing of structural foam. The cellular PVC material and rigid skin ASA are extruded separately, but joined together at the die to form an extruded profile with a cellular core and rigid skin. The cellular PVC can be adjusted to the desired density for weight reduction. The thickness of the rigid skin can also be adjusted to meet the desired technical specifications and desired aesthetics.
Rigid PVC (expensive colored cost), Cellular PVC (low strength and rigidity) and Structural Cellular PVC (dis-colouration or fading), Nextwood’s products improved many attributes by using CORECELL Technology:
i. addition of pigments to adjust color to mimic wood color
ii. addition of chemicals to improve rot-, UV- and flame-resistance
iii. surface embossing for wood grain imprint
iv. surface capping with HDPE or PVC to improve aesthetics and weather resistance
v. creation of two-tone variegation process to mimic wood look
vi. using acrylic plastic (ASA) cap to reduce color fading.
