Last week, the Liberal-NDP coalition presented its latest budget.
Canada currently has a deficit of $52 billion.
Our national debt currently sits at $1.2 trillion. That’s over 1000 billion dollars!
Even with these daunting numbers, the government decided to spend an additional $56 billion in the latest budget.
And of course, Justin Trudeau has absolutely no plans to balance the budget.
This must stop.
I keep hearing the same thing from hard-working Canadians – the Liberal-NDP socialist coalition has lost touch with reality and the Canadian dream.
Gas prices have reached historical highs across Canada.
Basic goods and services are more expensive than ever.
Generations of Canadians are in debt as a result of Trudeau’s spending – meaning your children will have to pay for Justin Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh’s reckless spending.
The only way to give Canadians the strong, fiscally responsible leadership they deserve is for Conservatives to choose a leader who can expand our coalition, break through in areas where we’ve come up short, and, most of all – win the next election.
This is why I’m running to be the next leader of the Conservative Party of Canada and the next Prime Minister of Canada.
Conservatives need a winner with a proven track record of fiscal responsibility.
As a big city GTA mayor, I’ve seen the pain inflicted by this Liberal government up close. Families, teachers, construction workers, business owners are struggling to make ends meet.
We need a leader who actually helps Canadians, protects our streets and communities, and doesn’t saddle Canadians with more taxes.
I am that leader that will lead Conservatives to victory, and I need your help.
