Easycan Inc.is pleased to announce that we have received funding under the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program for our project Choral Singing of Seniors.
This federal grants and contributions program supports projects that are led or inspired by seniors who are making a difference in the lives of others in their communities.
The funds will be used to project, “Choral Singing of Seniors” is to advance the established National Priorities of supporting healthy aging and celebrating diversity and promoting inclusion. It helps seniors stay out of social withdrawal and isolation, develop their self-esteem and confidence, improve harmonization within community, and enhance team spirit.
The project also services and to engages seniors as volunteers and to support the vulnerable, especially during the pandemic where immigrants isolation has been further amplified.
To encourage more seniors to participate in the project, our sponsors provide plenty of rewards that will be free to send out to the participants. It includes hand sanitizers, water-purifiers for showering, cooking pots, memorizable pillows, gift cards etc.
The arrangement of activities and delivery of healthy tips will share through group chatting on WeChat. In addition, participants can apply to join the group and receive the newest updates for the project.
