He discussed how the Knowledge Community and Inquiry (KCI) framework plays a crucial role in Erindale’s AI-driven education reforms, emphasizing AI’s ability to foster collaborative learning, knowledge-building, and deep inquiry, providing a strong academic foundation for future educational innovations.
Howard Lin 
Next, Professor Lin from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Business School, an expert in cross-cultural business and innovation, delivered a speech on AI’s role in marketing. As a guest professor at The Erindale Academy, he used real-world examples to illustrate how AI enhances marketing, optimizes educational platform outreach, and improves personalized user experiences. Fifteen-year-old students Jack and Peter introduced their startup project, Equal Impact Gaming, which emerged from their AI and Business Innovation course. Their project integrated AI technology with business concepts, exemplifying the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of the younger generation. Their presentations received enthusiastic applause, demonstrating the tangible impact of AI in education.
Panel Discussion: How AI is Reshaping International Admissions and Education Markets
A special panel discussion explored AI’s influence on international student admissions and the future of global education markets. Panelists included the former director of global affairs at Wilfrid Laurier University Ben Yang, the dean of Algoma University’s Business School William Wei, the senior director of global development at CanAchieve Consultants, Hanks Han, and the global recruitment manager at Georgian College, Lily Li.
Before the discussion, attendees had the opportunity to interact with AI Persona, a digital AI-powered avatar created by Erindale’s Director, Paul. The AI’s realistic responses, natural speech, and intelligent engagement left the audience in awe, demonstrating AI’s revolutionary role in education.
