Tian Ronglan, president of Yunnan Chamber of Commerce of Canada, said: March 8th International Working Women’s Day is not only an affirmation of women’s outstanding contributions, but also a deep call for equality, respect and multiculturalism. Therefore, we should not only commend on the great achievements of women in society, family and workplace, but also work together to look forward to a more inclusive and better future.
Canada is a multicultural country, and the success of this event cannot be separated from the support of important sponsors. They have been committed to promoting business cooperation and cultural and artistic exchanges between Canada and China for many years, providing valuable support for this event, making this event so wonderful!
The event programs were beautifully presented. There were songs and dances from different counties showing the charm of different cultures, enthusiastic belly dance performances, and specially set up interactive links on and off the stage, so that everyone could not only enjoy the performance, but also participate in it and feel the happy atmosphere of the festival.
In addition, there are a variety of delicacies prepared by the organizer for everyone, especially the special “Lan Mixian”, a special flavor of noodles from Yunnan, colorful glutinous rice, grilled chicken wings, sandwiches, cake sushi, fruit platter, red wine and white wine, etc. The unique aroma and taste provided the guests endless joy and unforgettable memories.
